Exactly. Different strokes for different folks. Most people on here would perceive my music as just noise, but it is what makes sense to me. I hear the complex patterns of it and I can relate to it, which is what matters most. Who cares what other people think. I enjoy it, so I do it, simple as that. I'm fairly open when it comes to music, but I am also a snob as well. I can appreciate the simplicity of a punk or folk song, but I also revel in complex music, like a lot of classical and metal. Its all good as long as you drive your message home. Music is about expression.
It seems that country is probably favored around here. I've got the utmost respect for some of those country/bluegrass finger pickers. They can put any shred lick Chris or I can come up with to shame. Plain and simple.
Skeet, I've just recently gotten into harmonica. My parents bought me one for Christmas this past year and I've had lots of fun, but I have yet to really apply myself that much as most of my focus has been with playing guitar and vocals with my band. I'd love to incorporate it with our current style. I think it would definitely add to it. Banjo is another that I'd love to pick up.
Anywho, its been a rather long night. I should get some sleep. Keep the posts coming you guys. Lets get this forum moving!
