Changes to Indiana Hunting Rules

Please monitor this andcheck the current status ofthe rules for yourselves, but it appears that some significant changes are afoot for deer hunters in 2007.

1. rifles chambered for pistol cartridges will be legal within certian limits. I think the lower end will be the .357 Magnum. As I understand the rules, both the .44 Special and the .44 Magnem will be legal. I do not believe that most "self-loading" cartridges will be legal as the definition is based on the dimensions. But my .44 Mag Model 94 Trapper should be good to go!

2. a raft of changes for hadguns, I beleive to possiblay include concealed carry and carry during archery and muzzleloader seasons.

Check it out and keep your eyes open on these changes!
