Down and dirty, just crush the primer till you can remove the shell casing.
Be careful. Place a board between your lovely face and the press and crush it. There "may be" some residue, wear glasses, which you should do anyway.
Another thrilling adventure in why I hand prime. Pre-inspection of primer pockets will solve that problem. Was this GI brass?
You may hear a small pop when the primer blows if it does. If not and you can remove the casing do your best Tony Parker imitation and do a 3 pointer into the s#!Tcan with that piece of brass. Don't try to remove the primer from the brass. It might go off and that can be painfull. Ask me how I know.
