With the invention of computers and copiers, it makes litigation a lot easier. All I have to do is cut and paste from Complaints and edit them slightly, and I can file a lawsuit. Evidence in the form of documents can be copied and attached to the Complaint. 30 years ago, this wasn't possible, and secretaries would have to re-type an entire Complaint if the attorney wanted to make a single change to it. Litigation used to be very labor intensive.
Technology is both great and scary.
