First of all,thank u for bringing a youngen into the hunting sports.Your question never stated how far u plan on setting his sights.Most of your shots are between 10-25 yards,at this range just about any fixed blade heads will get great penitration,3 inches gets a lung.If u are looking for something to blowthrough,try the magnus stinger,100gr 2 blade or the new muzzy 100gr cut on impact,although a little over priced they work great.The better half shot her first doe at 23 yards whith a 35lbs browning and got a clean through shot,50 yard tracking and the doe was done...Shot placement makes all the difference..good luck this year...and shoot a biggen..
