When I worked for the Post Office, I got bypassed more than once for cushier jobs. When I came up for a supervisor's position, I got bumped because the NASACP said there were not enough blacks in positions of authority. That was the day I walked into the office and told them to take the job and shove. Believe me. I know why some postal workers "go postal". Gads! That was way back in 1967 and I still get mad as hell when I think about it.
