When, not if, I get my grubby paws on one, there is no way Im not sittin up a tripod, or something like it, on the edge of a huge field or ridge (even better where I can see a mile in any direction) and deer hunting with it.

Like GD said, dead is dead. There is no way I could resist shooting a deer, after I get comfortable with it, at long range. As long as you keep it in the ribcage away from the legs, I doubt any meat would be hurt.

It may even eliminate the need for field dressing.
