Last year at the club a fellow had a bolt action .50 BMG and let us fire a round each. I am glad I had ear plugs AND muffs on as the muzzlebrake is LOUD! Actually, the recoil was not too bad.
I will get one someday to keep the chucks at bay on my farm. If the lightning don't kill 'em, the thunder WILL. LOL.
