Gump.........it's a plain jane mod. 10 bolt action, with a SSS trigger I installed myself.
Gorilla 10..............getting it back to the US isn't the real issue, just some forms from the ATF, getting it back here to Germany is. When I flew out of DFW in '05 to Frankfurt, the TSA/Homeland Security didn't even give me a second thought, they just assured I had no live ammo and locks.
The airline however, was a horse of a different color ( story for later)
But I am truly scared Hillary will pull it off and get 1600 Pennsylvania AVE. Then every known pro-gun law will go out the door, along with the 2nd Amendment.
A lawyer with US and German legal knowledge would be easy four times the price of a Customized Kimber with a VX-III. And the Germans have no problem with the rifles any way, it's USAREUR (United States Army Europe), who is the big pain in the tookius. And a German civil lawyer has little impact with USAREUR, that all shapes up with the US 'SOFA' rules (Status of Forces Agreement).
The Germans asked the US to follow the German laws of license and regristration, the US Forces here added a few extra steps, which (by the way a few steps too far for the Germans) make it very difficult. I am okay because I have had these weapons in the German system 12 years before I started working for Uncle Sugar.

And a good way to meet other hunters. When I eventually get a posting in Oklahoma, me and Gump are gonna meet up and critque a German resturant near Moore Oklahoma (I'm buying Gump!).
