Well if u havent heard the fish are in,though the main run is still in the mouth of the manistee there are alot of fish in the river..Stay away from tippy,unless standing 2inches from another person and spending your night catching nothing but other fishermens lines..Suicide bend is hot along with sawdust hole and bear creek,well the rainbow bend section I and my family fish is..Floating spawn,bouncing spawn and flies are working great.the best bite is just befor dark to sunup..long leaders and light weight is the key along with small hooks for spawn.
