Actually it is for a short action but not certain what rifle. I have a Rem I'm gonna try it on today. That way when I sell it I can tell 'em what it is. Not dissin ya man. Just messing around. Thanks for the info. I thught the S might have meant Savage. I'll let ya all know if it fits a Rem. Then I might keep it. Strong well made rings etc for certain.
