The tax shortfall/gap (i.e., what should have been paid and what was actually paid) was about $340 billion. That is a lot of fence and a lot of war. Seems that most Americans aren't paying what they should be paying, and trust me, I see a lot of it. Just saw a client deducting baby formula as office supplies. It is either out of lazyiness or ignorance that she didn't pull that amount out of the Costco invoice that did include some office supplies in it. I have been meaning to write her a letter about it. Also saw a purchase of $450 from Williams & Sonoma in the office supplies category, but didn't see any receipt for the purchase.
Trust me, there are plenty of things wrong with this nation. Too many people in the "want now, pay later" generation.
By the way, isn't it amazing how the entire immigration topic has fallen by the wayside? Why don't we hear anything more about this topic? Why isn't anything being done about this issue? Why hasn't anything been passed this session to address this matter? I know why, because it is too political and too many politicians are worried about their jobs.
