			I have a few Burris  scopes, and like them. 
   I think the Nikon Buckmaster and Bushnell 3200 are comparable to the Fullfield II's, and are all good values. 
   Skeet, almost every  bit of  raw optical glass comes from overseas. Some companies like  Burris, Leupold, and I think Pentax grind them here, but I don't think any raw  glass comes  from the US, and hasn't for a long time. 
    BTW, when I say  raw  optical  glass, I'm referring to a big  chunk of  glass that's chopped out of a huge slab of  glass- it looks  more like a rock than anything  you can see through.  For many years, almost all raw  glass came from a German company named Schott- and much of it still does. A few Japanese companies  now sell some, too.
