Glad to hear that you had fun at skeet. I used to shoot a lot of it too, but then took up sporting clays. It is rather funny. My dad had taken me to shoot trap when I was a little boy, so that is all I knew. When I graduated undergrad, trap is what I started shooting and I was actually afraid to try skeet. Then, I started shooting skeet and was scared of 5 stand and sporting clays. Next came 5 stand, then came sporting clays. Now, I shoot any clays game possible, or just any clay in the air, period.
Honestly, I really prefer shooting clays over paper. Don't get me wrong, I love my rifles and handgun, but I just don't like shooting them at paper unless it is to check the zero before hunting. Even then, I don't love shooting them to check the zero.
Thanks for putting up the relationship between you and GoodOlBoy and Slim-Zippy. I never would have guessed, but I am going to make a mental note of it now.
