Thanks for the support; it sounds like you know your military arms.

I like the M38 and the M44, but the M38 is the nicer "woods gun" in my opinion. I wear Sonic ear plugs when I shoot those Carbines afield because the muzzle blast is stout! And as you point out, the muzzle flash is also a factor.
