Bought a pair of these from a fellow out here. He was trying all kinds of binoculars out and he went with the 8x32 Katmai just because he liked the magnification better. I like the 6x32 as they are probably about as clear as any binoculars I have ever had. The 6 power may be a little light for the long ranges you can experience in areas of the west such as where I live now..but they are good binos that my wife and I carry with us all the time. I was lucky and bought mine from the fellow for 100 bucks...even got the warranty card etc. Them gummit people either have more money than they need or the gummit was paying for them for him. He is a DEA agent of some sort. He also has a couple of guns I want to buy...well maybe 50 guns I wanna buy.
