Those two guys don't have the foggiest clue about guns & ammo, although I do like the show. Saw one episode where they needed gunpowder, so they went and bought a box of ammo and pulled the bullets.
Guess they can't buy a can of powder where they are at.
The neat thing about the "shooting into the pool" show were the results. Ya know what "penetrated" the farthest? A muzzleloader. Nothing else penetrated very far. Guess there is something to be said for having a big ol' hunk o' lead just plodding along.
