Find it hard to believe that you found a Leupold that was not clear. I reall don`t know how many I have, around 30, and they are all excellant. Are you sure that some one did not turn the focus knob and get it out of wack? I know that the Leupold are higher over there, but the warranty on the Leupolds is better than on the Schmidt & Bender or Pecar, which cost more over here. The basic rule of thumb with any glass is" You get what you pay for.", and rifle scopes fit right in there. I`m lucky, and go to alot of gun shows and from time to time find so real bargins on scopes.
