The Hitler Youth were sort of like the Boy Scouts for Nazi Germany, and had a quite large membership- so there were a lot of those daggers made.

The Youth Daggers were In-scripted but I can't remember all the script. 2 words I do remember were Jungen and Blut. Which mean Young and Blood. Some were also inscribed Blut ad Ehre, Blood and Honor. There was a typical propaganda message on them.
One of my older brothers, Erwin, stole one from somewhere and brought it to America somehow. Kids are tricky!
