The parts are still avaiable from several places and on gun broker as some of these guns have been tractor guns and such and some parts are worth more than the rusty old gun itself.

The prices on these went up tremendouly over the years.

I used to buy them for 200 to 150 range and now they are 400-500 on the boards. I like the 24 DL with the silver and black tone and the fox and turkey on the sides.

I don't know but I've been told it's hard to swim with the weight of gold. On the other hand I have heard it said it's just as hard with the weight of lead.
