God loves me. . . I had a wreck
at approximately 7:40 this morning on highway 21 a saltwater rig pulled to the right hand shoulder. I was behind him. I passed him at 50mph just as he hooked a hard left and crossed both lanes of traffic. I managed to slam on the brakes and com to a complete stop without hitting him. I was under his trailer and he didn't know I was there. I had time to think "Oh thank God." before the impact on the drivers side of the vehicle. His toolbox caught my roof and rolled me up at a 45 degree angle. He pulled me 30 feet off the road pulling the tires off of the drivers side wheels. I was laid on my horn because I knew he couldn't feel me under him. A log truck behind me laid on his horn and the driver heard him and stopped just before I rolled over. Had he finished rolling me his rear wheels would have driven over the front seats of my 2008 chevy cobalt and I would have been killed. My wife was going to come to work with me today to look for a new job. I put her off because I had meetings scheduled all day and we would not have been able to have lunch together. Had she been in the car she would have been in the passenger seat and been killed. I had to crawl feet first out of the drivers window because the door was against the ground and could not be opened.
I walked away with a little microglass shards in me, and no other injuries. The impact was so soft I didn't know he had moved me off the road until I crawled out.
God loves me. He kept me safe in horrible danger, and he kept my wife safe at home.
Praise the Lord God. In Jesus Holy name. Amen.

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
