Well it wasn't quite a Yard Sale
Went to a moving sale near where I live. Found a nice rifle at the place the price was ok so I bought it. It's a Ruger 77 MK II 22-250 in exc condition..has a 6.5 x20 Leupold on it and I got 200 rounds of factory Winchester ammo and more than 500 new unfired brass that has been loaded. Going to take it all down and re-load the cases. As someone here said..shooting someone elses loads is like swappin underwear. 1/2 is loaded with 50 gr V-Max bullets and I think 4320 powder and the other 1/2 is loaded with 55 gr SP and H335 powder. I even got the rest of the cans of powder. Cases were factory primed. Heck the scope costs more than I paid for the whole rig. Also while in Billings the other day I went into a pawn shop..just slummin around ya know and momma found a nice Ruger 77 MK II that fit her just right. It's a 257 Roberts and SHE bought it. Sheesh..the eastern lady that never wanted to hunt has decided to do a little deer hunting....oh and coyote extermination. We had a pack that came down and killed (and ate) one of her cats. She did get one with the ol Savage 340 I have here. BTW she got that ol 'yote at about 40 yds with one of Rocky's recommended loads with the Plinker bullet. Also the 257 cost her 350 and it is as new
