Sounds like a winner to me, heck I found a 223 H&R (with the laminate stock) the other day with a Luepold VarixII 3x9x40 used in great condition for $215. Wish the heck I had had $215 on me at the time. Sent a buddy of mine to get it and he him-hawed around then backed out because he wants a bolt 223 instead. I coulda punched him in the nose, I really coulda. My brother is interested in it now, but keeps making excuses not to head up to the shop and look at it. . . . . .

Man you find a deal, but are short at the end of the month, and can't get two turkeys who both want a 223 to jump on it. . . . . If by some miracle it is still there after the 1st me and my wife are gonna have another argument about buying a gun right now.

Sheesh

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
