Well it all sounds good Adam

If only the world worked that way for us good guys. I do kinda feel the way you do..but believe me..there seems to be someone in the area all the time....even here in the Least populated state in the country. And what you suggest is as they say...against the law. Violating the ESL is a federal crime...and the PETA types will try to drive you to Leavenworth..even if it is justified. That is why people here are so upset about the wolves(and grizzlies). They live here and have to live by rules set up by people that really don't have a clue...or don't care. They just want to make sure we have wolves grizzlies and as few people here as possible. I have cows on the place here and if the wolves attack them I will probably do as you suggest...SSS. I have had as many as 6 full grown wolves within 100 ft of my house at one time...in broad daylight. They are not afraid of people. But I don't like being put in a bad position by someone who just has their own agenda...and could care less about my concerns. Wolves eat a cow..it's a 1000 bucks gone..plus the young'uns they'll have in the ensuing years and their offspring. And the grizzlies are just as bad up in the summer grazing areas. The self same people that push the wolf and grizzly agendas don't want the ranchers to graze cattle on the leases either. Never ending circle. I know one ranch lost over 40 cows to wolves and grizzlies last year. They always used to figure one or two cows lost every year to depredation or natural causes. It really ain't worth doing the SSS
