I have messed with a few Swedes over the years. The ones I've seen have all been in good shape, and shot very well. I think there are a couple reasons for that.
1) Swedes never were under combat conditions, so, you rarely (if ever) see one that's really beat up.
2) Take a look at that barrel- they basically were all bull barreled rifles. The barrel diameter is rather large for a 6.5 bore diameter.
I have a few friends that hunt with sporterized 6.5x55's- that's a really excellent cartridge.
