Nice number of blocks there.....what I would have done is leave more of a space in front of the blind; a 'landing zone' for ducks coming in....I used to do the "J", "C", "U", "W" thing with my decoy spread.....now I just put them out and leave openings in front of where we will be standing.....seems to work pretty well. One other thing I do is segregate decoys by size; smaller duck decoys, such as teal, are set off by themselves, as are goose decoys. I was told that bigger birds will push smaller birds off of a food source....don't know if that is true or not, but it does seem to work for decoying in the different species.
