If we get a refund, usually the wife and I just split it and use it for whatever we want. Kind of our play money and my share is usually enough that I can build up another rifle or buy a new one. Dunno about this year though.
Due to there being no COLA on SS or my pension, and my health insurance jumped up another $60 a month, guess I'm eating a $60 cut in pay. Thank you Obama the Userer, tou lousy sack (expletives deleted)
I've been thinking of selling off the safe queens but doggone it, that's like selling off my children.

Don't feel bad, Chase just cut my limits in half on three different cards that I have with them. Funny how they do that at a time when people are actually more likely to do it because they NEED to do it. Ultimately, I do not blame them too much, but I went to AMEX and away from them because they also changed one of their bonus programs that screwed me out of $100 in cash rewards by 4 days and there was nothing they could do to compensate me for it but this new rewards program is a better program. Really? Really!!
When I applied for another AMEX card, AMEX only gave me a $3,000 limit on it because the other one I had from them had a $12,000 limit. They sent me letter asking me to give them a call if I wanted to redistribute my credit limits between the two cards, so I did. Ultimately, the rewards programs are much better than what Chase was giving us.
