I went diving the other day myself Skeet, but the best I could come up with was a Mauser that had been rechambered to 7.62x54R. They wanted $200 for it. I worked on him for about half an hour, managed to get him down to $175 and to throw in the scout scope mount and 60 rounds of ammo in pouches that he had pulled off of it (but not the scope itself). My limit on it was $150, so like you said no go. The date stamp on the sale tag shows it went up on the rack in Feb '08. I will keep working on him, you never know. Other than that he has a pretty nice like new (but still an older model) craftsman bench grinder sitting on the shelf for $49. Maybe next trip I will try to talk him into a package deal on them both.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV
"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
