Well the excrement in the White House has already got federal lawyers looking into it and frankly, I would not be surprised if some liberal federal judge either puts an in juction to keep it from going into effect or outright strikes it down as unconstitutional.
But then again, he and the Congress no longer care what WE THE PEOPLE think.
Technically, the Constitution only allow the feds to regulate immigration. I'm OK with that. If I understand the law correctly, it only allows LEOs to question a person about whether they're here illegally or not and detain them for ICE to do whatever they feel should be done.
It sure has raised a bit of a ruckus around here. Someone has issued a death threat against Congressman Raul Grijalva
who favors open borders with mexico and immediate citizenship for the 12 to 20 million illegals here in the country today. To add insult to injury, he's anti-gun, anti-hunting. a green weeny, and IMHO a commie.
I believe what would make him the happiest guy around would be to give California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas back to Mexico. He's up for re-election in November and right now, for the first time since I moved to AZ, there might be a chance to kick his sorry ass out of the House.
One can only hope. He does nothing of AZ other than to further latino causes and he has the majority vote as the Latinos outnumber the rest of us.
