You're right about getting tags. So far, I've bombed on antelope and elk.
I've been trying for a ''goat" for 31 years and I haven't drawn yet.
Got really mad last year and booked for an antelope hnt in New mexico. Got a nice one that came close to making the book, although I could care less about "the book." My only gripe was the hunt was over way too quick. I tagged out 15 minutes after legal starting time. That's OK too as he's darn good eating.
