I don't know much about military surplus rifles, but I don't think that they made Mosins in 7mm.......I'm thinking either A.) it's not really a Mosin B.) It is a mosin, and it's a really RARE mosin, or C.) it is a conversion that may be of questionable strength.
Hopefully Adam Helmer or Gil Martin or one of the others can shed some more light on this one.......
