man you did great on that powder and the 35 Whelen is a really good caliber. Mine is a shooter for certain..but is a Dale Goens built 1909 Mauser. Gotta hit a few yard sales in the mawnin. Did good tonight though

Picked up a nice Remington model 31 12 ga..made 1940 I think and looks almost new seriously..2nd was a sporterized 1917 Enfield 06 with a Bishop stock..still has the shadbelly though. 3rd was a really nice Ruger 77 in 270 Win...really nice condition..4th got a really nice old model Ruger SBH 44in like new condition..guy is gonna look for the box in his attic..but this one wentto a friend..only paid 300 for it last but not least got an ol Rem 788 in 243. I may have it rebarreled to a longer bbl as it is a short carbine. we.ll see tomorrow when I can get better looks at 'em in bright daylight.


Ed you really made a great buy on that 700 Classic. I also think the sellers at the gun shows(some anyway) have lowered the prices abit
