I have a friend back east who just bought a Volquartsen knockoff(huh??) of the Ruger..Good lord..a thousand bucks and he got it just to play with.. The last Ruger 10-22 I had was borrowed by a friend and subsequently stolen. He got it back but decided to buy it rather than return it.. I was not troubled with selling it. Have very little use for the 10-22. I even had a tricked out one. OK... but not my cuppa joe. LOL
