Guess the CA fires, mudslides, rain and earthquakes werent enough to scare her away

The focus is a good commuter car but since Im used to a 3/4 ton Yukon XL I'm not looking forward to a cross country jaunt in the Ford

As our one and only, I always knew that I'd be giving her away someday. I just didnt realize that I'd have to hand deliver her across the country in the process
I'll agree about the Focus. My wife mainly uses it to commute to work, and the days she isn't using it I usually use it to go to Court or meet clients. The rest of the time I drive a Taurus or an F350 crew cab. Like you, I would not be looking forward to that cross country trip in the Focus. We are heading down to Florida at the end of the month and we are taking the F350. My father in-law commented that we would get better gas mileage in the Focus and I had to ask him why he preferred to drive his Santa Fe SUV up here from Florida in lieu of the Sonata since the Sonata would get him better gas mileage. Silence, and it was golden.

Yeah, it sucks that she is going to me moving so far away. My parents got lucky and we all stayed in this area. Albeit, some of us are 30+ minutes away from my parents and some of us are just down the road. My wife's parents have the opposite issue. They are in Florida and one of their daughters is here with me, the other is living in Manhattan, and their son is interviewing for residency positions as an ER surgeon at places along the east coast, with the closest to them being North Carolina.
