Just back from a whirlwind tour of Texas, visited a few relatives, etc. Just outside of Montgomery Texas on 105 we ate at the most awesome place I have eaten at in a very long time,
www.kaiserhofusa.com go for the spaten optimater (Amber German Double Bock), the jagerschnitzel(upgrade to the veal it's worth every bite), and the house dressing. My wife recommends the potato soup very highly, and she liked the weinerschnitzel (pork as served) Their German Rye was great, if they only carried a good black bread I would move in and pay rent.
If you are in the area give it a try, but remember to make a reservation, you will need it.
