Ah yes, the eyes, very important pieces of equipment. Hope all goes well Ed, I may be on one of those waiting beds one of these years . . .
Still on original eyes, but these $700- glasses every couple years is getting to me. These latest, called gleitschicht or progressive, near, middle, and far are a genuine pain. Very tough to read anything.
Save the seeing eye dog for Plan B and hope you never need it
