Been there, done that
I had a cataract for many years and it was corrected with a lens implant back in 1988. I had lasik in both eyes in 2011. So far, no problems and I do not need glasses to drive. I do wear Dollar General store reading glasses for reading and working on the computer. Glad things went well for you. All the best...
