If you're shooting the same diameter shafts, then less vane surface area translates to less impact on that particular shaft.
If you're using small OD shafts, then blazers will be more than sufficient. I've been shoting them on carbon arrows for years with no problems at significant distances. Also, you can put more helical on the vanes, and they should stabilize the shaft.
Will it improve anything??? Not very likely. If you've got something that works, stick with it.
