Anyone own or use one of these? Research confirms 1000 watts is 1000 watts of electric no matter how you look at it. I can't see spending $200 and having my electric bill climb $60 a month. Do you think one of these are better than say an oil filled heater I used last winter to save a little on heating oil cost? Just paid here in W.Pa for oil $1100 for 335 gallons ...yikes. I had plans on a wood burner in the living room this winter but a needed septic system flushed those funds down the toilet.... Should I save my money on the edenpure? What about those propane indoor heaters?
