G.O.B., Why not just buy one box of factory ammo for pressure measurements and then buy bulk brass for the reloads?

When I bought my last .270, I bought one box of 150 gr. Winchester Power Point ammo, test fired the gun and and measure case head and pressure ring expansion. Then I bought 200 rounds of Winchester bulk brass and worked up the reload I wanted with the 150 gr. Sierra Game King.
The only factory ammo my guns get is that first box when I buy the gun for the pressure testing. After that, it's bulk brass and handloads for as long as I have that rifle or handgun. If things don't work out, yo can always sell off he gun and components. Seems like a win win siruation to me.
