Well am baaaccckk. And the 51st WWC show is in the books. All in all it was a pretty fair show. some observations though. people are desperate as GOB said for certain items. Primers powder and bullets. Some ammo...especially foreign made is coming in stock again. US made..not so much. The big craze on AR rifles seems to be done..a flash in the pan as they say. but you will see it again..I do believe. I only took 10M primers with me.sold at reasonable prices..and they went quick. Took no 22 ammo. It was selluing for 75-80 a brick of 500..and I can't in good conscience do that. but they do set the price..the buyers I mean. Sold lots of littles. bought lots of littles..specially casting stuff. Sold some powder..one guy came by and had an 8 lb of the newer Hodgdon 8208 Benchrest type powder and was proud of the fact he "only" had to pay 240 bucks for it. Holy crap..I si becoming richer by the minit. LOL! As far as guns..hunting rifles are not selling well..although I sold 4..2 were very cheap and 2 were high end rifles. One shotgun sold.and 4 handguns. and 3 of them were to ladies. And all larger calibers..one 44 special(Lisey's special Ruger Flattop one 9mm and one lady bought a smaller 45 auto I had. A Rock Island 6 shooter. The other was a mil-spec 45 auto. Sold some 45 auto ammo too. Sold 17 boxes..but my price was fair..for present times anyway.

Now for my firearm buys. Only for 3 Got nother Kimber 45 auto. and a Kimber 8400 Custom Select in 338 Win Mag...Pretty wood too. and I got a rifle I have wanted for a long time..a 1953 made Winchester M-64 Rifle..30-30 of course. Not perfect..but looks like it will be a good shooter. Metal is about 88-90% wood is ok but has a longitudinal crack in the forend. I have another forend..but think I can repair the original fairly easily. It even has the original sights and the front sight hood. and has a Lyman peep mounted on it. I just gonna use it to get my deer out the back window this fall...Bore is good in it too. Also went to an auction In Cody on last Thursday evening. Bought 3 guns there.. Best of the bunch was a really nice 1920s S&W K framed 38 Special 6 inch with original grips. Blue was approx. 95% just a pretty gun. Paid a bit more than I wanted cause it was an auction.but still a nice collectible at well uned 400 bucks.other 2 were Winchester 22s.one a Winchester 74 22 auto..in ok condition but got it for a 100..the other was a really nice condition Winchester 72 22 bolt with the magazine tube. lt had a Winchester (probably made by Weaver)22 type scope on it. Bore is good as is the blue. Paid 175 for it but it is a nice gun for a young'un..or maybe even an ole 'un like me. If I can will post some pics
