Pretty much that way here. Only thing I am buying now is handguns pretty much. And they are S&W revolvers for the most part. I did get an older Russian SKS in good condition with detach mag(4) and a 120 rounds of 7.62 x 39 ammo. Paid 200 bucks but it was in a 75 dollar hard case. Only reason I bought it was I have 7-800 rounds of ammo to use in it. Stuff I have had laying around here for years. For some odd reason I am looking for a Mosin Nagant rifle to just have. Ugly but they work. Just for carrying on the 4 wheeler ya know. Ammo is Sooo cheap. Well right now it is. But I bought almost a 1000 rounds at an auction for80 dollars. Now I have to find the rifle. Many things at that auction went very cheap. 22 ammo went to the edge of outer space. . I did buy one rifle there. It was a Savage and I only bid cause it wasreally low. Bought the darn thing for 200 bucks. Hadn't even looked at it. When I took it out to the truck I happened to look at it and almost choked. The rifle was an unfired M-11 Hog hunter and it had a Steiner scope that cost a fair amount more than a 1000 bucks on it. I unconsciously made one of the best buys I have made in the last 4 or 5 yrs. DUH!! My wife bought clocks and got a great buy on a neat little clock. It was a coach clock and had been on a stage line that went from California to Virginia City in the later 1890s to the early 1900s. Even came with provenance. Even if it is crapo provenance it is a neat story and the price was very reasonable. It even worked but I have a friend that does clock work and we had it cleaned and gone over. Cost more than the clock.
Nobama is still the best gun salesman of all time I think.
