Got talked out of them... or allowed yourself to be talked out of them?? Big difference. LOL... Surprisingly the old 30S go for quite a bit more than they used to. Especially in the odd calibers. Even nice examples of 721/722s are bringing more than they used to. Hard to find nice like new ones though... cheaper rifles and got used hard. 70FWs are bringing good prices these days too. I also recently got a real nice condition post 64 Win 100 semi auto...284 cal. Like I needed it. It seems to shoot well. Odd thing about the Win 100s...the guns were all made pre 64...stocks are the only difference. Saw a rare example of another 100 the other day. It was a 243 Carbine... plain stock. Nice to just cobble a load together and have it shoot well. I have an affinity for Marlin 39s also... bought a 39A last week. If I keep this up I'll go broke. 5 of the grandkids each have one now. Still have mine which will go to the oldest boy... so only have 2 more to go
