Thanks Adam, good to still be on this side of the ground. Sounds like a good way to do it. I was recently gifted a completely rebuilt Pietta Confederate Navy .44 (Yes I know the originals were .36s ), and I have a single shot .50 pistol as well. I haven't gotten to fire either one, and don't know when i will get to, but I've certainly been bitten by the black powder bug. Had a .45 rifle that was supposed to be headed my way in trade, but then the trade fell through. Caps are impossible to come by in my part of the woods anyway so I don't know why I'm getting so hung up on the front stuffers, but hey I like 'em.

Anyway back to the horn, I bet it will be a real beauty when finished.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
