Weed Money

Pot smell on bills lands man in slammer
Police dispatcher noticed bail money had marijuana odor

GREENSBURG, Ind. - A man who went to the sheriff’s department to bail someone out has wound up in jail himself —after police noticed the money he handed them reeked of marijuana.

Timothy Richards of Columbus, Ind., went to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department to pay the $400 to get his brother-in-law out of jail.

A dispatcher noticed that the cash smelled funny and asked a state trooper to investigate. Authorities say Richards allowed the trooper to search his car and was arrested when the trooper found some marijuana and a pipe.

Police didn’t confiscate the cash, so Richard’s brother-in-law got out of jail. He returned a few hours later with $250 to get Richards out.

I have had that happen more than once. People show up to bond out someone else and either have a warrant, drunk, high or something else that landed them in the can and bond them as well..

Good for business.

For the Bail Bondsmen, or the State, County, City, Town?
Dont get me wrong, if your stoned off your goard when dealing with the man. You deserve what you get.

Places like Indiana, Oklahoma ect. Dont screw around when it comes to pot. I wonder if some of the same "crime fighters" would give their buddy a slap on the wrist for driving drunk?

Now that Im working security for someone who isnt a buddy, I havent messed with that stuff in quite awhile now.

Thats o.k. by me. Now I can concentrate on my main vices Shooting, hunting, fishing. Pluse now I can look down my nose, and shake my fist at "them dirty Hippies"

P.S.
Andy,
This reply was in NO WAY meant, to be in your face.
