Getting rifles out for PA Deer November 26.

Our rifle deer season begins on Monday November 26 for two weeks. Here in rural northcentral PA, we use rifles. I got the Ruger 77 .243 out of the vault for the Frau and I got out a M70 Winchester .30-06 made in 1939 for myself.

It it rains during the deer season, I leave the scoped rifle at home and hunt with an "as issued" military rifle like a MkIII .303, a 6.5X55MM M38 Swed or a 98k 8MM.
