used Leupold question(s)

In Plano TX, there is a shop selling a used Leupold Vari-X I for $150.00

First question, is this a fair price? It is in great condition.

Second, will Leupold honor the warranty (it's been an issue, as we know)?

Last, can I have a German #1 Post put in?

Leupold web page hasn't answered me (yet ), and I work from 7am to 8pm, and can not take the time to call the customer service dept.
