I carried a Luger P-08 and P-38 CCW all last week.
By happy circumstance I acquired a Luger P-08 and a P-38 a while back. Last week I alternated carrying these arms CCW. While the Luger is "sexy", for lack of a better word, the P-38 just felt more business-like.
I ran a bunch of factory loads through both guns before I carried, and both shot to the sights at 25 yards. The Luger is a classic, but the P-38 is more to my liking for serious business. My all time favorite CCW is a M1911 loaded right. Adam

Carry guns
Adam I had a really nice P-38 that was a bringback from WWII in the holster with 2 loaded mags. I just had to try that old ammo out. Shot fine..wasn't very accurate but it was a neat gun. Sold it to a friend. Have had a couple of P-08's too but never really cared for 'em all that much..Sexy??might be the right word. But as you I am a fan of the 1911. Have about a dozen and they all shoot pretty good. Don't carry a gun(i public) all that much but when I do it is almost never concealed. Wyoming IS a different state. I do carry on the farm/ranch all the time...especially now with the wolves(they aren't afraid of ya), coyotes and the snakes...which are coming out
