New additions

Last friday night the mrs joined me while I was surfing and watching tv in the basement. Completely outa the blue she turns to me and says...." we need to get some AR-15's".

...coulda knocked me over with a feather.

Well....when you snooze you lose....yesterday I looked for the rifles I had picked out....gone. So...after telling the mrs it was gonna be tonight...she reluctantly agreed to go see what I was gonna bring home. When I walked to the counter I found one of the two AR's that I'd wanted still there...but there were also others there that weren't listed on-line...for less. I went with a S&W M&P-15 with a red dot for just a bit more than what I'd been going to spend on the Armalite. The mrs at that time, at the counter, hit me with...I want something I can put in a saddle bag. (no wonder she'd been looking at AK-like pistols...heh. So she wanders down to look at pistols...and tells the guy...do you have anything...small? he starts to show her a Taurus when I spy...at the end of the display...a .45 Colt Defender in stainless. She see's the price and moves back down the counter looking for something...smaller. I lean over the counter and tell the guy.."show her the Colt...put it in her hand." Long story short... we went home with a coupla new additions. And (completely accidental) if she doesn't like her new pistol....I will.....heh.
