It is one of Bev Doolittle's sick and twisted art pieces.

MIGHT I ASK WHY IT IS SICK OR TWISTED? I THINK IT IS A WORK OF ART. THAT TAKES A SPECIAL EYE AND IMAGINATION TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING LIKE THAT. I'VE ALWAYS ADMIRED ARTWORK, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TROUBLE DRAWING A STRAIGHT LINE WITH A T SQUARE.

Okay, the first print is by Bev Doolittle. Thanks for that info Captain. Sad thing is that they cost about $10,000. I'm not that rich yet. I looked at some other art work that she has done and it looks pretty cool.

Now, who is the second one by? Hopefully, I can afford that one.

At this rate, I might just have to stick with Terry Redlin prints, and even those aren't that cheap.

Being sarcastic mate

I love her work, but some of it requires a bit of brain pain to see all the embedded images

greenwichworkshop.com
amcalart.com

capn'

i certainly understand the brain pain part. a lady friend of mine sent me that same painting over the internet once because she knew i was a horse lover. i have an appaloosa.

i had been out with friends the night before and was still under the alfluence of incohol when i opened up the email and there was that picture. took a few minutes to get my wits together before i could decipher the picture. i was impressed when i finally figured it out. it's beautiful. i had a blown up version done for me and it hangs in my living room. us cowpokes are strange folks.

i named my appy dan, after the horse in the song "the blizzard" by jim reeves. i hope we don't end up that way. he and my dog fritz have really gotten to be good friends. they take off across the prairie and just have a ball. they work in tandem bird hunting, soon as fritz locks up ol' dan starts pussy footing cause he knows fritz has a bird cornered. the three of us make a pretty good team.

i have to investigate ms. doolittle a bit further. see what else she has to offer.

if you like western art give ol' charles russell a try. i still think he was and is the best of the western artists. he could do a painting of a bunch of cowpokes doing a round up and branding and you could actually smell the hair burning by looking at the painting. such realism. and he was a real cowboy.

My wife got me this one a few years back. I think it's called "The Forest Has Eyes".

I've seen them here around the Hills in homes for many years. There is one I like with a native and a pack horse moving through some birch trees. You can see eagles heads with the tree design.

Bernie Brown is my favourite artist.

Excellent pencil sketch artist from Saskatchewan.

I tried last night to see if I could find a cheap print on the net, but no luck. I found a 600 piece puzzle of the print, and might just order it because I am a puzzle guy too.

Anybody have any clue as to the second print?
